Lead - Inspector Refresher
This 1-day (8 hour) refresher course is offered to individuals who have successfully completed an accredited lead-based paint risk inspector initial class within the past three years. Refresher courses concentrate on regulation changes, updates and new developments in state-of-the-art technology.
Description
This course fulfills state lead program training requirements to maintain certification as a lead paint inspector. Topics will cover an update of federal and state regulations including the latest revisions to the HUD Guidelines and any other lead legislation enacted in the last year. New lead detection technology and inspection techniques entering the market will be addressed. The one-day course will conclude with a course test.
The course is required every 3 years by the EPA and HUD and annually by the MDH for individuals who perform lead-based inspections or lead dust clearance testing.
This course is approved by the EPA, North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality, and the Minnesota Department of Health.
