Lead Safe Work Practices for Pipeline Paint Removal

4 Hours Initial Training for personnel working on or around lead-based paint on pipeline installations

Description

This course provides general awareness level training  for pipeline workers who may be exposed to lead hazards on the jobsite.  Topics include an overview of lead, sources of exposure, health hazards, regulatory requirements, safe work practices and an overview of personal protective equipment.

Coupled with job and site specific training, this course is designed to comply with the OSHA initial and annual lead awareness training requirements specified in 29 CFR 1926.59 and 29 CFR 1926.62(l).

This class can also be modified for to meet OSHA General Industry standards (29 CFR 1910.1025) for lead exposure in the workplace.
